      6. Durian

      Season: May - June.

Durian (Toorian), has royal status in the name - the king of fruits, but it is forbidden to carry to hotels and public transport. It has an amazing taste and disgusting aroma. For this aroma, it is forbidden to eat it in hotels, public places and transport. Durian is an amazing large fruit, outwardly very powerful and formidable, similar to the weapons of orcs - a spiked and prickly ball on a stick. Strong, with large sharp cones-thorns, the peel hides a light orange pulp of a creamy consistency with 2 or 4 oval seeds. The advice of the "experienced" - it is better to taste a vere small slice of durian, which will perfectly convey the taste, but not the aroma. Eating durians after refrigerating is very logical in the hot climate of Thailand, as the aroma disappears, but the taste remains. The aroma of durian is perceived differently by everyone: from the smell of gasoline and kerosene to the smell of fried onions and garlic. In any case, it does not leave anyone indifferent and memories of the fruit, its taste and aroma will remain for many years.
