The rules for entering Thailand for Belarusians in 2022 have been greatly simplified. This was officially announced in the Union of Tourist Organizations of the Republic.
What has changed?
The Kingdom's authorities previously required every tourist to register for the Thailand Pass program. Now this need has disappeared. You no longer need to upload documents to the portal:
- Passport photo.
- Confirmation of the vaccination against Covid.
- PCR test.
- Insurance worth $10,000 is also not needed, which allows you to significantly save on traveling.
Upon arrival in the Kingdom, you will have to show:
- Certificate of vaccination against Covid-19 (the vaccine must be included in the approved list).
- Or a rapid test confirming the absence of the disease.
- In addition, PCR test can be done directly at the airport.
- Do not forget about your passport and visa.
The quarantine was also recently lifted.
How can Belarusians get to Thailand?
Today, trips to Thai resorts are arranged by some Belarusian companies. You can visit Phuket, Pattaya, Koh Chang and many other places. However, there are no direct flights here from the republic yet.
The nearest point from which planes fly is Moscow. In this city, you can also apply for a visa for up to 60 days. To do this, you need to come to the embassy.
Thanks to the easing of entry rules to Thailand for Belarusians from July 2022, holidays in this country have become even more pleasant. May your holidays be sunny!
