Covid restrictions in Thailand will be lifted from the 1st of October, 2022.
Looks like the pandemic is over. So, from the beginning of October, all restrictions will cease to operate in Thailand. Now, tourists arriving from other countries will not have to present vaccination certificates and undergo PCR tests. Entry into the Kingdom will be available under pre-pandemic conditions. It turns out that Russians upon arrival in Thailand will automatically receive a visa valid for thirty days.
The news was published in the Bangkok Post newspaper. The Minister of Health of the country took part in a meeting of the Commission on Infectious Diseases. It was also decided to lift all restrictions.
A little earlier, the Kingdom's parliament removed the coronavirus from the list of infectious diseases that may cause a ban on entry into the country. Simply put, this means the end of all restrictions.
For this decision to come into force, information about it must appear in the Royal Gazette. At the moment, there is no such news in the publication.
